One in a Thousand Brunch

By now you likely have heard or seen that the town our beloved restaurant is located in was struck by a freak of nature last July 30th.  The powers that be named it A Thousand Year storm.  It’s more complicated than that, but it’s a simplified way of naming the un-namable. After three months of rebuilding, Tersiguel’s reopened, and thru out that last year many of the businesses have returned.  While it’s difficult to say, “Let’s celebrate,” Chef and Angie wanted to acknowledge this life-changing event, and have brunch with you. It is only with you and your support that we both felt we could go on during a time when giving up looked much more appealing.  It’s been worth it.  We hope you will join us.

This pre-fixe brunch is $50 and will include one Bloody Mary and coffee service.


First Course, Choice of One

Soupe à la Tomate
Chilled virgin tomato soup with crab salad

Pâté
Odette’s house made country pate with cornichons & seeded mustard

Escargot
Escargot baked with butter, garlic, shallots & white wine

Salade d’Harico Vert
French beans with walnuts, Belgium endive, local pears, & Dijon vinaigrette

Salade d’Anis
Shaved fennel with apricots, sliced grapes, watercress, goat cheese & virgin olive oil vinaigrette.


Second Course, Choice of One

Le Pain Perdu
Baguette French toast with orange supremes, pecans, maple syrup & whipped cream

Oeufs Pochés
Two poached eggs served atop sautéed shrimp, Tersiguel farm potato hash with shallots, shiitake mushrooms, garden squash & shrimp sauce

Canard
Duck confit with poutine and Demi-glaze & a poached egg

Boeuf
Kobe sirloin with spaghetti squash Dauphinoise, leek onion frittata & chanterelle sauce


Dessert
Floating island with crème anglaise, fresh berries & chocolate mousse
